AMMAN-HRH Princess Basma, president of the Jordanian National Commission for Women (JNCW), on Wednesday honoured participants in the third course of the national security programme.
A total of 52 women from civil society organisations and universities took part in the training course, organised by the Friends of National Security Institution and the JNCW.
The two-day course aimed at raising awareness on the importance of comprehensive national security.
Princess Basma noted that Jordanian individuals and institutions should both be concerned with defending the Kingdom and the values of pluralism, acceptance and tolerance it was established upon.
At the end of the ceremony, the princess presented participants with certificates.
